About Me

I'm a software engineer who moves fast, thinks in systems, and keeps revenue and business impact at the center of every technical decision. I don't just build what's asked — I ask whether it's the right thing to build, de-risk it before others notice the problem, and change gears quickly when the situation demands it.

I have a strong product sense and operate with an ownership mindset. I take complex, cross-team problems end-to-end — from design and alignment through implementation, validation, and cleanup. I care about patterns that scale beyond the initial project, so that what I build continues to deliver value after I move on.

I'm deliberate about focusing on the right things — not just the technically interesting ones. I push for clarity when there isn't any, reduce manual overhead through automation and tooling, and enable other engineers through design reviews, documentation, and mentorship. I use AI as a force multiplier in my own work and actively help teams adopt it in practice, not just in theory.

  • → Designed and shipped the Impressions API — a new production-grade surface for advertisers — while concurrently executing the EU Gazette → RedPanda migration end-to-end in ~5 weeks
  • → De-risked FIFA Club World Cup traffic spikes (15–20× normal load) with a pre-heating autoscaler based on match schedule, achieving zero errors during the tournament; co-authored an engineering blog post on the approach
  • → Enabled Chalice AI model on Clean Compute via Ray on Spark, creating a reusable pattern for distributed ML workloads; built the LRAuth SDK for MCP-based authentication infrastructure
  • → Cut infra costs by $2,800/month through proactive node pool optimization; fixed a Hadoop MapReduce bug reducing compute time by 66%
